Tell us a little about the venue? Is there a history or a cool story couples love to hear?
Originally settled in the 1860s, this natural getaway has been transformed into one of the most remarkable private properties on the East Coast… with one extraordinary view after another.

What are the venue spaces?
The property has 2,500 feet of water frontage, a 3-acre fully-stocked and spring-fed lake, a 1,000-foot pier and boathouse, an irrigated and lighted horse pasture (perfect for outdoor parties), and an amazing collection of old-growth trees and wildflowers.

A luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath cottage (The River House), was constructed in 2006. Interior design by Susan Dowling… and featured in Amelia Island Home and Design (2008). Much of the interior pine and red bricks are reclaimed from the original 1860s farmhouse.

Sit on the front porch rocking chairs to enjoy the water views, or cozy up to the outdoor fireplace on the back porch. No expenses were spared on this property… which comes complete with high-end appliances, a built-in sprinkler system, and full back-up generator in case of power outage.

The property’s 2,500-square-foot party barn (known as the “Sugar Shack), was built in 2007. It’s the ultimate party spot, with a full kitchen, two bathrooms (with London pub doors), a stage to accommodate almost any band, a 1,500-foot hardwood dance floor, and a 500-foot outdoor (partially-shaded) deck, overlooking the crystal-clear pond.

The 1,000-foot pier that extends out into the Bells River also has a 500-sq-ft boathouse, with a rooftop deck. It provides unparalleled views of the manatees, dolphins, and 50-ft high sand dunes just up the river. A built-in sound system makes it an ideal spot for entertaining… with room for a 4-piece band.
